Origin Area/Day: The Miniature Schnauzer dates many of the way back to 15th century Germany as a regular Schnauzer. At first bred as a far more medium sized Pet dog that will be accustomed to catch rats, it developed into a more compact Pet during the 1800s that could be a lot more of the companion.
